Letters From My Grandfather

I am in the process of writing a novel about my grandfather, Lorenzo Spinardi, my grandmother, Francis Spinardi, and their love affair during the WWII era. It will be based on dozens of love letters exchanged between the two of them during my grandfather’s service as a B-24 Liberator gunman for the U.S. Air Force and my grandmother’s young womanhood in Oakland, CA.
