Do you need a visa? YES!
Is it hard? NO!
Tanzania offers a convenient visa upon arrival for tourists. The ONLY thing that causes some problems is that the visa MUST be paid for in USD. Fortunately, I saw a view tourists who didn’t know being allowed to use the ATM that is outside of the airport to get USD.
When you exit your flight you will walk into the gates and wait in line to be processed (mine took about 1 hr, it was pretty slow).
- US Citizens:$100 (Multiple entry) for one year, 90 Days at a time
- Non-US Citizens:$50 (Single entry) for 90 Days
- Non-US Citizens:$100 (Double entry) for 90 Days each
